On November 3, 2022, the Aurora Economic Opportunity Coalition hosted the Dia de los Muertos event to honor day laborers who enriched the Northwest Aurora community and who had passed away. This celebration also served as an Open House for the Dayton Street Day Labor Center, a community hub connecting workers with jobs and fostering networking among local leaders and business owners. Attendees left with full stomachs, artful reflections, and positive new community memories.
